Position Title: Enterprise Architect

The Enterprise Architect is responsible for defining and governing the enterprise architecture principles and standards, supporting the development of the overall IT strategy, and developing business and technology oriented reference models in conjunction with other senior leaders and project planners. This position will provide architecture leadership to all technology towers, project teams, and third party providers to effectively deliver cost effective and high-quality solutions.

Responsibilities to include, but not limited to:

Facilitate shared architectural governance as acting member of design committee and other corporate competency centers.

Lead the development and lifecycle evolution of architectural standards, reference models, guidelines and principles. Manage and facilitate the IT standards creation and maintenance process. Establishes and leads our primary architecture design committee.

Educate and raise the awareness of third party vendors and internal staff on enterprise architecture principles and standards, reference models, and processes effecting system designs, technology selections and business value.

Responsible for translating business strategy into an overall IT architecture approach. Work closely with internal planners, core technology silos, application leads, third parties, and business unit personnel in developing plans and models to simplify the environment, consolidate systems, or leverage technologies. Substantially contributes to updating the ERP roadmap, and develops the prioritized strategic plans. Insures reference models are maintained in industry standard modeling tools.

Closely partners with internal customers and third parties to assess feasibility of new capabilities being proposed. Assists with comparative analysis against existing ERP systems. Works closely with third parties to assess and recommend new technologies

Actively promotes teamwork with IT customers and third parties, and leverages application and network expertise across all parties. Ensures standards and guiding principles are considered for new systems and upgrades. Ensures SDLC checkpoints are completed and architectural exceptions are noted and approved.

Qualifications/Skills

Basic Qualifications:

BA/BS degree in Computer Information Systems, Computer Science or related field/equivalent experience

Desired Experience:

* Strong communication and collaboration skills are a must

* Proven experience working with multiple technology platforms

* Strong facilitation skills across cross-functional teams

* Excellent communication skills, conflict resolution, and customer service skills
