Programmer Analyst

The Programmer Analyst will be responsible for the requirements analysis, design, configuration, development, testing and documentation of validated systems for the Genentech Product Manufacturing and Quality organizations.  Candidates must have strong communications, teamwork, problem-solving and
customer service skills.  Candidates must demonstrate solid software development lifecycle experience, ability to work on cross-functional
teams with both technical and non-technical team members, and desire to learn and grow within the Genentech Corporate Information Technology organization.  The candidate will work with a team of programmer analysts on projects, maintenance, and production support
of our existing applications.  The person in this position will be responsible for troubleshooting problems with
existing configurations, code, interfaces and reports as well as developing new capabilities in concert with business partners. Candidates must
have strong software development life cycle experience to be able to drive and support best practice, quality, and consistency within
design and construction phases of application development. Candidate must be able to provide accurate work estimates based on business
requirements analysis and deliver high quality solutions to meet evolving business needs.

Requirements
* 2 years of software development experience.
* 2 years of data modeling and SQL development experience.
* Web application development experience with Oracle, Java, JSP, Javascript, WebLogic, and Apache a plus.
* Experience with Livelink content management system a plus.
* Experience with TrackWise system a plus.
* Experience with Crystal Reports a plus.
* Experience in a GMP software development environment a plus.
* BS Computer Science or equivalent.
