The IT Strategic Enterprise Planner is responsible for the development and maintenance of the overall IT Strategic Plan. This role defines and maintains an overall planning and prioritization methodology, including consolidation of business and IT plans, industry and technology trends, assessments of enterprise business process and enterprise requirements. This role is responsible for maintaining and updating the SAP roadmap, in conjunction with SAP, business units, IT organizations and service providers, and provides IT Senior Management with a consolidated view of systems aligned to processes and business units with associated investment costs. This position provides guidance to IT Executives during the capital project approval process to insure business plans are aligned with stated strategies.
Responsibilities to include, but not limited to:
Owns the ERP SAP roadmap and engages IT and business unit staff during the update process. Refreshes the ERP SAP Roadmap bi-annually with respect to the selection and integration of ERP software into the Enterprise, and notes opportunities for expansion and further realization of investment benefit and business value.
Works closely with key SAP executives to stay abreast of new SAP functionality and technology.
Stays abreast of technology trends impacting our business. Meets regularly with key planning executives across our corporation and our service providers. Participates on corporate committees, SAP governance councils, corporate design and standards boards, and service provider planning councils.
Develops, maintains and communicates the IT Strategic Plan. Consolidates business and IT perspectives, as well as technology and industry trends. Recommends opportunities and considerations to the IT Executive team and Sr. Management team to stay aligned with business objectives and keep pace with demand.
Aligns the application portfolio to the IT Strategy and Enterprise SAP Roadmap in conjunction with Enterprise Architecture lifecycle standards and IT organizations.
Qualifications/Skills
Basic Qualifications:
* Bachelor’s Degree in related field required.
* MBA preferred

* In-depth knowledge across multiple aspects of the business (i.e., organizational structure, key management, current business processes and supporting systems and services, etc.)
Desired Technical Skills:
* 8-10 years strategic consulting, strategic planning, or financial planning
* 8-10 years direct project management experience with specific background in IT planning and execution, business case development, IT portfolio analysis and management, transition & resource planning, project management
* 5-10 years IT industry standard methodologies, (e.g., Portfolio Planning and Management, ASAP Methodology)
* Previous experience with a large Global ERP implementation (200M+)
* Solid experience with tools such as Clarity/NIKU, MS Project, or other related project management tools
* Expertise with strategic planning frameworks and analytical tools
