Position Title: Manager/Director of Security



The Manager/Director of Security is accountable for all facets of the security as pertains to ongoing and new SAP/ERP project lifecycle and relationship management with the project stakeholders. This position is also responsible for ensuring deliverables are complete, produced on schedule, within budget and meeting specified quality standards for his/her team. Additional responsibilities include the management of cross-functional teams in planning and executing of project tasks including translation of customer requirements into formal agreements, assessing these needs against corporate security standards and policies, and creating plans to conclude in customer acceptance. The Manager/Director of Security ensures that security processes and protocols are executed within a new multi-phase project and integrates into the current solution and new projects.



Responsibilities to include, but not limited to:
Document standard operating procedures and security policies in compliance with internal standards bodies and change control processes. Manage team coverage to ensure 24 x 7 ERP security standards are being met including on- and off-hour support requirements (e.g., on-call rotations).

Lead and manage the project life cycle for larger security team projects/goals (establishment of goals, standards, milestones, deliverables, and resource allocation). Balance on-going change requests from client groups, the urgency of these issues relative to new task milestones, and team bandwidth to provide a comprehensive capacity management plan.

Set operating standards and promote these standards within the group (i.e., adoption). Manage daily operations of corporate security team. Set standards for performance and provide necessary training opportunities and mentoring scenarios to foster team growth. Provide on-going performance feedback as well as comprehensive annual reviews. Represent team in larger group/leadership presentations/meetings.

Qualifications/Skills

Basic Qualifications:

* BA/BS Degree.

* SAP training pertinent to field of expertise (i.e., security).

Desired Experience:

* 4-8 years of ERP security administration and management in complex global implementations.

* Experience in ERP security development across multiple SAP modules ideal.

* Experience in security and controls with respect to SAP add on components (e.g., R/3, BW, etc.) ideal.

Desired Technical Skills:

* User creation and administration across multiple system landscapes.

* Creation/Administration of security profiles and authorizations.

* Extensive experience in enterprise-level project lifecycles including all phases of a traditional development lifecycle (project preparation, blueprint, implementation, final preparation for release, and release “go live”).

* Interface with compliance group to ensure compliance for SOX audits

* Spearhead creation of custom security solutions for all facets of project implementation (e.g, reports, interfaces, customization, enhancements, and forms).

* Strong business skills and interpersonal skills demonstrated in prior projects through successful mediation of issues.

* Must have the ability to multi-task and measure, balance, and react to situations with varying priorities and urgencies.
