Founded in 1991, CASPA has developed into the largest Chinese American semiconductor professional organization worldwide. It is an officially registered non-profit organization with both the Internal Revenue Service and the State of California.

CASPA provides networking and business expansion for corporate sponsors and individual members, facilitate collaboration and communication among professionals and companies in the semiconductor industry, promotes the welfare of the members by supporting their interests, and exchanges information regarding job opportunities and career development globally.

San Jose NAACP

The San Jose / Silicon Valley NAACP strives to improve the political, educational, social, and economic status of minority groups; to eliminate racial prejudice; to keep the public aware of the adverse effects of racial discrimination, consistent with the efforts of the national organization and in conformity with the articles of Incorporation of the Association, its Constitution and By-Laws as directed by the National Board of Directors.

Since 1952 the San Jose / Silicon Valley NAACP has represented all communities of color in ensuring fair treatment throughout the Santa Clara County. The branch has been responsible for high profile change including working to change Denny’s Restaurants past practices which led to a national change in Denny’s policies and hiring practices.
